The RCC has partnered with several District and Borough Councils to deliver Helping Improve Rural Employability (HIRE). HIRE has been created to offer employability support to those who are long term unemployed. HIRE is available to those living in the Harborough District or the Borough of Oadby & Wigston.

Individuals are encouraged to take their first steps toward employment such as job search, training or volunteering. They are provided with free regular one to one mentoring and can be supported with job applications and creating their CV.
