The George Ward Centre is a community centre, based in the heart of the village of Barwell, in South West Leicestershire. The Centre has a sports hall and several other rooms which are available to hire.
A number of services aimed at helping people are run from the Centre, including a regular Mum's and Tots group and a weekly activity session that is ran in our coffee shop where you can take part in crafts and cooking on a budget with an air fryer. The Centre receives no statutory funding and is reliant on room hiring, donations and grants to continue to operate. Note, the car park, which is at the rear of the building is accessible via Church Lane (post code: LE98DG).
