Countesthorpe Community Library

Countesthorpe Library was taken over by Countesthorpe Parish Council in August 2016 to save the Library from closure.

Run by our Library Supervisor and a wonderful team of volunteers, Countesthorpe Library has thrived, and is working constantly to become a community hub for our village.

As well as offering books and audio books to borrow for all ages, we also offer free use of public computers, with printing facilities, free access to Wi-Fi and scanning and copying facilities. We have a Jigsaw swap and a magazine swap, and some fun educational toys for children to play with once they've chosen their books!

We run a number of regular monthly groups, including weekly RhymeTime sessions for 0-5 years old and their parents/carers.

A variety of events are hosted across the year, often in association with other local groups.
