Eastwell Village Hall
The original Village Hall - known as the Village Institute - was built just after the First World War in 1919. It was a timber building and provided a centre for the social life of the village for over 50 years. In 2014, following a lengthy application process, a Lottery grant was obtained to build a new hall which was opened in 2015. As a guide only the hall can accommodate up to 80 persons seated in comfort.
Parking
When visiting the Village Hall please note that, except for a Blue Badge bay to the rear of the Hall, all parking is on-street. For safety reasons, as advised by the Police, we respectfully ask visitors to show consideration to residents by:
- not parking on either side of the road between the Village Hall and Hall Lane and Stathern Road
- not parking in front of residents' driveways or on grass verges
- leaving the bus stop free before 5.30pm.
