Village Halls Service

Supporting Village Halls in rural areas of Leicestershire & Rutland has been a key activity for the RCC for many years, and to ensure we are able to continue this valuable work we are encouraging Village Hall committes to join our Village Hall & Community Buildings membership service.

We’re making some changes to the service this year to offer even more support to Village Halls and Community buildings across the county.

New for 2010 will be a “Members Only” area on our website, providing up to date information on a wide range of issues, including funding and training. In addition, the full range of Village Hall Information sheets worth up to £5 each will be available to download free of charge, and ACRE Village Hall Publications will be available with a 10% discount and free postage.

Valuable legal advice will continue to be available through ACRE, and the comprehensive Funding Information Service, available only to RCC members in 2010, will be free of charge.

We shall continue to visits halls across the county to support applications to the SHIRE grant scheme, and also to provide general information and support. These visits will be free of any charges to members, but will be £30 for all non-members.

Annual membership remains at £35 and to join is simple. Just complete the application form below and send to us with your membership payment.

Training events will be arranged for the coming year and prioirty bookings and discounts will be offered to all member.
