12pm - 3pm at St Guthlac's Church, Stathern. Exhibits are brought to the church either on the Friday evening before the event or Saturday between 9am-10.30am. Judging takes place from 11am and the Show is open to the public from midday. In addition to the show there are various stalls, refreshments and entertainment from the Stathern Jazz Band. The auction of produce takes place at 3pm following the presentation of prizes.

1.30pm-4.30pm. Start and finish in the car park of The Rose & Crown Main Street Thurnby. A gentle circular walk along the footpaths and permitted paths of Thurnby & Bushby and surounding Villages. The walk will involve some clambering over stiles etc. Stout footwear is strongly recommended as well as clothing suitable for the prevailing weather conditions. We welcome children 8 years old and over and well behaved dogs. We will finish with a welcome cup of tea and piece of cake in the Community Centre adjacent to the car park.

The first night of the new season is one where we welcome new members whether they want to help backstage, front of house or onstage treading the boards. We meet at Manor High School above the gym (which on a Monday Night seconds as a dojo) on every Monday during term time.

The Shuttlewood Clarke Foundation is a registered charity based in Ulverscroft, and to celebrate the Foundation's 20th Anniversary, with the help of Bradgate Flower Club one of the Foundation's properties will be transformed to tell the story of the Foundation over the last 20 years.
Between 10.00 a.m. - 6.00 p.m., the house will be open for you to come along and view the flowers and wonderful setting of Ulverscroft Manor.
There will also be demonstrations - 'Celebrating in Style' - by international floral designer Derek Armstrong.

A five mile guided historical walk exploring Seaton , Harringworth and the Welland valley. There will be a visit to two churches, a pass by a former watermill, walk under the longest railway viaduct in Britain,a chance to see the Victorian railway architecture and earthworks and an inspection of the tomb of a famous clockmaker. The walk also includes a short section of the Jurassic Way and many opportunities for spectacular views across and along the welland valley

The 18th annual show with classes for vegetables, flowers, fruits, jams, pickles, chutneys, bread, cakes, wines and just about anything else you have grown or made.
Special classes for children and Seagrave residents too.
This is a friendly show that attracts the ordinary gardener as well as competitive growers.
Entry is still free for all exhibits and for visitors.
Opens for exhibitors 8:30am.
Hall closed from 1pm to 3:30pm for judging.
Bar opens 4pm.
Prizes awarded at 5:30pm, followed by charity raffle, this year in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

12 noon - 4pm at Albert Village Lake, Occupation Road, Albert Village, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE11 8HA. Albert Village Lake is situated in the Heart of the National Forest. The spring fed lake is home to Middle England Newfoundlands who train their Newfoundland Dogs to lifesafe in the water. Why not climb aboard one of their boats and take a trip round the lake to see the vast number of birds that have made this reclaimed venue their home. The Newfoundlands will be putting on a life saving display and there will be opportunities to be pulled in by a newf. For small children, dog cart rides will be available. The event if free of charge and there will be refreshments available. Why not bring a chair and your family for a really different afternoon out.
Disabled Access : The lake has extensive pathways suitable for wheelchairs but there is no disabled parking near the lake. Their is a large car park but this will entail a short walk down to the lake area.
