Community Consultation, Parish Plan and Related Projects

Whissendine	Parish Plan and Good Neighbour Scheme	Whissendine GNS	Whissendine have constituted their Good Neighbour Scheme - the need for which was identified in the Parish Plan
Ryhall and Belmesthorpe	Parish Plan and Playing Fields Committee	Ryhall and Belmesthorpe Parish Plan	The need for resurfacing work to the playing fields car park was identified in the Parish Plan and the Playing Fields Committee is currently securing funding for £35,000 worth of improvements.
Cottesmore	Parish Plan Action Points	Cottesmore Village Plan Cottesmore Village Website	Internet connection was installed at the Sports and Social Club in December 2009
Barrowden	Parish Plan and Community Shop	Barrowden and Wakerley Community Shop	Barrowden and Wakerley Community Shop opened in November 2009 - the need for the shop was identified in the Parish Plan of 2005.
Tinwell	Parish Plan Action Points		A map of Parish walks has been erected in the Churchyard as requested in the Parish Plan
Oakham	Parish Plan Action Points		Oakham has been selected to receive a £50,000 Playbuilder Grant (Year 1) to improve the Princess Avenue Play Area. Community Consultation has been undertaken and designs approved for installation at the end of March.
Uppingham	Parish Plan Action Points		Uppingham has been selected to receive a £50,000 Playbuilder Grant (Year 1) to improve the North Street East Play Area. Community Consultation has been undertaken and designs approved for installation at the end of March.
Ketton	Parish Plan Action Points		Ketton has been selected to receive a £50,000 Playbuilder Grant (Year 2) to improve the Hall Close site.
