You may have heard about the Newbold Verdon Parish Plan Group. Plans are being produced for numerous parishes including yours, and many have already been published. This questionnaire is being distributed to every household in Newbold Verdon so it allows every adult to express their opinion; this is why it is such an important part of the consultation process.

The parish plan group came together in October 2008 to produce their parish plan. They are very hard working and full of enthusiasm to ensure that the future of Newbold Verdon is one that the residents want, and they have lots of fun along the way! Please complete this questionnaire if you want your views to be included for improving the future of Newbold Verdon.

Kirby Muxloe Parish Plan Questionnaire!!!

A Message from the Kirby Muxloe Community and Parish Plan Group:

Our Kirby Muxloe Community and Parish Plan Questionnaire is an important part of the consultation process to produce a Plan for the future of our community. Everyone can and should take part. It has to cover a great many topics, including traffic, crime, the environment, and social events. It is important that you fill in the sections that matter most to you, even if you skip other parts. There is also a section ‘About You’ to help us understand whether the different views we get reflect those of particular groups within the community. Everybody’s views will be treated as equally important, and the views expressed remain completely anonymous.

Our Plan is being produced by a dedicated Group of volunteers, supported and funded by the Parish Council, but quite independent of it, and guided by the Rural Community Council (Leicestershire and Rutland). The Group will continue to work hard to analyse your comments and produce the Plan, which we hope to publish in late 2009. Of course not every idea will come to fruition, but Parish Plans are taken into account by bodies such as the County, District, and Parish Councils, NHS Trusts and other so-called Service Providers, and there are still grants available for new projects, provided there is evidence of strong local support.

There is also an opportunity for those who wish to help in specific ways to complete a Contact Sheet, separate from the Questionnaire itself. We would particularly welcome help with what remains to be done on the Plan.

We are currently working to try to ensure that the youth in the community are appropriately consulted about the issues that specifically matter to them, though we welcome their answers to this Questionnaire, if they would like to fill it in.

Thank you for completing the Questionnaire on the internet. It will make it much easier for the results to be analysed. We ask that all responses are submitted by Friday 26th June. After this date all those who left contact details will be entered into a prize draw, for internet submissions the CASH PRIZE IS £50!!!!!

Barwell Adult Questionnaire

We hope that you have already heard about the Barwell Parish Plan, indeed some of you may have took the time to complete the ‘pre-questionnaire’ which was in circulation last year, and if so the parish plan group want to thank you for doing so. The aim of the pre-questionnaire was to give the group an idea of your main concerns and issues that you may have about Barwell. Due to cost implications and time limitations the pre-questionnaire wasn’t made available to every household, but it did give the group a feel for what you would want to discuss in this questionnaire.

Barwell parish plan has been undertaken by a group of local volunteers who are trying to help the relevant authorities and organisations in Barwell provide you with what you need. Please try to fill in as much as this questionnaire as possible.

We are asking that only people over the age of 16 fill in this questionnaire as we are hoping to consult with the youth of Barwell about issues that may be of more importance to them later in the year. This questionnaire should represent the view of one person only.

By filling the questionnaire in online it will make it much easier for the results to be analysed and we are therefore offering an incentive of £50 CASH PRIZE if you can fill it in this way.

(All online entries who leave their contact details will be placed into the draw for the £50 cash prize, the parish plan group will draw one winner from the hat at a public parish plan meeting and will inform the winner of their prize.
