Become an RCC Member!

There are many ways to support the RCC, but the most beneficial is to become a member. Not only does your contribution go towards ensuring that we maintain our high quality service provision and support for the rural communities of Leicestershire and Rutland, but you get something in return too.

How you join is up to you. There are three membership packages on offer, but you can select the one most appropriate for your needs.

Friend of the RCC - £12.50

If you are looking to support the RCC but don't require the benefits of our higher tier membership packages, then why not just be our friend?

This package is ideally suited to individuals and small organisations/groups such as Parish Meetings and Women's Institutes. But this is not to say that if you are one of these you have to join as a Friend. If you feel that the benefits of one or another of the higher tier membership packages may be of use to you, then you may join at that level instead.

Friend membership costs only £12.50 a year and entitles you to the following:

• 2 issues of the Village Voice magazine (January & June)
• The Diary of Village Events & Guided Walks
• Invitations to events and seminars

RCC Full Member - £40.00

Full RCC membership is aimed at larger organisations, such as Parish Councils etc, or for anyone else who requires more support from the RCC than they would be entitled to as a Friend.

RCC Full membership costs £40.00 per year and entitles you to:

• 2 issues of the Village Voice magazine (January & June)
• The Diary of Village Events & Guided Walks
• Invitations to events and seminars
• Telephone & email support from the Rural Action Team
• 20% discount on RCC chargeable work, RCC training courses, advertising space in RCC printed publications, hire of RCC consultation tools and thermal imaging camera
• Access to the Members' Only area of the RCC website
• Opportunity to become an RCC Trustee

Community Buildings Service - £50.00

The Community Buildings Service is specifically aimed at Village Halls Management Committees or private owners, or Parish Councils who also exercise a responsibility for a community building.

Community Buildings Service membership costs £50.00 per year and entitles you to:

• The Diary of Village Events & Guided Walks
• Invitations to events and seminars
• Telephone & email support from the Rural Action Team
• 20% discount on RCC chargeable work, RCC training courses, advertising space in RCC printed publications, hire of RCC consultation tools and thermal imaging camera
• Access to the Members' Only area of the RCC website
• Opportunity to become an RCC Trustee
• Advice from Community Buildings Officer
• Advice from ACRE Village Halls Service
• Access to Village Hall members web area
• Unlimited access to 38 Village Halls information sheets
• Advice on funding opportunities and business planning
• Free enhanced entry into RCC Community Buildings Web Site
