
Volunteer Information
The RCC (Leics & Rutland) has recruited volunteers from across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland who will be able to help vulnerable people who may not be aware of what they need to do to ensure they don't lose their television reception during the Digital Switchover.

Weekly Monitoring
Your weekly monitoring must be submitted by 5pm on Friday. If you are unable to submit it on a Friday please contact the Project Officer to arrange a more convenient day.
We would welcome case studies of people who have accessed the scheme as a result of your work. These are required by Digital UK for publicity purposes. There will be prizes for the best 3 case studies.
A form will be provided shortly to enable you to submit case studies. In the meantime please send them in as a word document or give details on your monitoring form.
Requests for leaflets and promotional material can now be made on the attached form which can be returned as an email attachment to dcook@ruralcc.org.uk

How to Volunteer
The RCC (Leics & Rutland) has recruted volunteers from across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland who will be able to help vulnerable people who may not be aware of what they need to do to ensure they don't lose their television reception during the Digital Switchover. Training has been provided and expenses up to £350 will be available to all volunteers that undertake the work correctly.
Their task will be to:
• Attend a training workshop and a mid project evaluation
• Identify additional community supporters in their area
• Identify and support those in the target group
• Collect data from the community supporters and report back to the project officer.
The project will be undertaken between March 2011 and September 2011 and most work will be undertaken in your own district.
