Stathern War Memorial Institute
Registered Charity: 519063
Built in 1937 by local volunteers with money raised locally for materials, on land given to the village by the Duke of Rutland for that purpose. Since it's completion various improvements have taken place - the building and installation of a substantial kitchen, storage area, disabled toilet and upgrading the access path to accomodate disabled and wheelchair users. The hall has a commanding position in the centre of the village on the main street. The hall is adequately provided with tables, chairs, etc.
