Empingham, Audit Hall

The Hall was buillt in the 1600's. Empingham is within 1/2 mile of Rutland Water, midway between Oakham and Stamford; the White Horse Public House is opposite the hall. The hall has a collection of ancient arms and weapons on display and is decorated with two locally made tapestry wall hangings depicting scenes of village life.
