Copt Oak Memorial Hall

The hall is a memorial to the seven men from the village who died in the 1939/45 War. The cost of construction was met by local public funding. Copt Oak is a tiny village in the Charnwood Forest and a thriving community from the war years has dwindled to a handful of people from those times. The hall is maintained to a high standard by a dedicated committee and, with a capacity limit of 100 persons, is suitable for wedding parties, dances and funeral wakes. The field on which it stands is often used by caravan clubs.
